Welcome! Ok so after checking out RIU for a bit I decided to move my journal over here. This first post will cover the gear I'm using. Feel free to comment.
Flower Cave
Size : 14' X 12.5' Sealed, no intakes or exhaust
Air Conditioner : 11,000btu in room ac. Will be upgrading to split ac this spring.
Lights : 2 1000watt air cooled bulbs on a 5.0 commercial light mover. 1 digital 1 magnetic ballast. Active Air 417cfm in line fan with speed controller turned down to about half. Ushio dual-arc and Hortiluz super hps bulbs.
Dehumidifier : 50 pint automated low temp bought at sears. Stereo stays on all classical 88.7 KCME commercial free.
Co2 : 4 burner gen-1e propane generator controlled by a sentinel.
Air Filtration : Can Fan 150 with a 417cfm in line fan on top carbon-scrubbung air in the cave.
Fans : 1 small oscillator, 2 tall oscillators, and one tower fan(works great for stirring Co2 on floor)
Veg Cave
Size : 11'x11' passive intake, active exhaust through light hoods.
Lights : 2 400watt air cooled hortilux super blue bulbs powered by 2 standard switchable magnetic ballasts. 1 Active Air 417cfm in-line fan with a sped controller turned down to about 1/3.
Air Filtration : Air is drawn through a Can Fan 50 carbon filter.
Humidity : Mid range walmart 48 hour humidifier with its own humidistat keeps the veg room right between 55% and 60%. Fill once a week.
Cloner : EZ clone 30 site. Runs 24/7 cleaned every 2 weeks.
Heater : 1500 oil filled radiant heater for night time.
One oscilating fan blows across the tops.
Dry Cave : This is just a corner of the veg room plasticed off with an 8" passive intake coming into the top of the 'room' and an 8" tube on the floor. When the plastic is closed normal house air (71f 20%rh) is drawn through the dry room before going on to the veg room.
Middle Cave : All intakes are filtered through theese 1085 micron filters. This Can Fan 75 and Ona help with any remaining smell. Probably wont need theese after we get the split ac.
So that's what I'm working with. Tomorrow I'll cover what I'm growing. Peace!
