What kinds of systems do you all have and in what car? I would really like to know...

ive got


2 6 1/2" infinity kappa
2 6x9 infinity kappa

1 alpine amp powering those 4 speakers

1 12" infinity sub with a sony 1200w amp on that

civic with 2 10's 250 watt amp 100$ form my friend..sounds nice

2 audioque 12's
pioneer deh-6800mp
big rd audio sub amp
autotek amp
mb quart 6.5's in the doors

i have 2 10" infinitys and 1 10" kicker solo baric "square woofer" powerd by 2000w ...rather not say what its in but its loud as fuck!!! the solo baric hits hard in deep low bass and the infinitys hit harder on high bass!

Who needs trunk space lol

are those 15's?!? box looks huge the the woofers def. look beiiger than 12's!..either way i bet thats loud as fuck in that car!

Alpine headunit (basic but looks mint)
2 vibe 6*9's in the back (SEK-69)
alpine 17cm door speakers in the front
Alpine 250watt amp runnin da back speakers.
any panel in site of any speakers dynamated!

sound ok, lacks power up front, vibes add a far amount a bass not to need a sub, i done mine so nothing shows and everythings hidden behind pannels and looks standard so it dont attract no theivin lil reprebates!

After MANY MANY MANY different setups and cash down the drain ive managed to get exactly what i want. I went to school for mobile electronics and got certified a few years ago. I must have put at least 5grand down JUST in audio in my 300zx. As far as subs and amps, rite now im running 1, 1211a Inifinity 2 channel amp running at 1.75ohms in mono, with 3 12" Infinity kappa perfects. This combo pumps out a WHOPPIN 132.6 dB MAX... As far as headunit and other speakers i have some panasonic that cost me like 500 bucks 3 years ago, i cant even tell you what the model is but it has TONS of options for hpf's lpf's, great eq and all those goodies. The 6.5's in the doors are also infinity kappa series along with 2 1" jbl Tweeters that are mounted on the apillars in the car.. Now the unforchinit ending to this story is that that car got hit by a firetruck (yes with me in it) I was okay and thankfully the only thing that happened to my system was one of the subs cracked but still works fine aslong as its screwed into the box. So now i have most of that setup sitting in a crappy 93 explorer= (

I also mounted the HUGE capactior in place of the spare tire under the trunk so it wasnt visable. Hope you enjoy! Two 12's hahaha. Yeah the box is huge, i saw the deal on this system and it was half the cost of ONE 12 and the amp was free so I stuffed it in my car hahaha

lol...big boxes always sound better man! i bet that system sounds better than my 3 10's! ...my buddy had 2 WICKED OLD 12" JL audios from like the 90's ina HUUUUUGE box that barely fit into his trunk and it was prob. one of the loudest systems ive ever heard!..shit hit so damn hard it makes the hairs in ur nose and ears tickel!...that ever happen to any of you?!? ..lol

i would love a big box, but im only in my first car, i sampled my big bro's 12"MTX sub in the boot one evening and id say if a played a full song id end up with a big pile loose nuts and bolts! the old girl just aint like she was back in her day

Lol my system makes the end of the windshield wipers look like rattlesnake tails.

look at ur rear window i bet it vibrates like crazy!..the friend i mentioned with the old JL's blew 2 rear windows..had to get rid of the box "kept the woofers!"

I remember at my training school we put a bouncy ball on that back of my trunk in a little box, and it bounced like 6in off the trunk lol.. I was very lucky i never blew out the backwindshield, the subs literally sat rite under the hatch, if you didnt see go to my post on the first page i have a link with pics.

I dont have anything impressive but it was set up properly so it rocks.

its not much but it still rattles the mirrors and I still cant handle the stereo turned all the way up.

I have a Dual system... but apparently its gonna cost big bucks to get it installed in our 2006 Buick Rodezvous. I hear that the newer vehicles require special wiring kits and shit... and they ain't cheap. I was told that it'll cost somewhere around 2-3 hundred bucks just to get my system installed. Gonna hafta save up for that. Didn't have this problem with our old minivan. We installed it ourselves.

You mean i HAD a mint 300zx =( i got hit by a firetruck like a year ago. and it WASNT my fault. I have yet to see a dime for it.. Isnt it sad that, that can happen to someone and have to fight this long for it?=(. It was n\a but still was a very nice car and i loved it, i still have it in my driveway lol

i have a pioneer flipout dvd head unit ... kicker qs 6.5's in the doors and a 12 inch kicker sub all powered by a kicker 762.5 amp all in my v dub gti.. sounds pretty sweet.. oh yah, forgot to mention the sirius satelite radio hard wired to the head unit as well.. nothing sounds better in a quality system than satelite radio being broadcast in digital sound imho.. and listening to the stern show when someone rides the sibian is just insane.. i would almost bet that a chic sitting in my front seat as i listen to someone riding the sibian would get off just as good as the girl riding the real sibian.. good stuff...
