dont remember what the circumstances were for him (what his intentions were for the tech n whatnot) but maybe wanting to see it in the hands of an auto manufacturer could keep this guy around a minit. also a half hydrogen half petroleum engine was a good place to start. only half as scary to big oil. his all hydrogen engine is the real threat to them.
