I really like this recipe, and its a small batch, good for experiments and cannabis. I like to use the wax reclaim from my oil rig, already decarboxylated and purified, I just pour boiling water in the bong, shake it up, and pour it all back out into a pan with some butter. I cook that a bit just to get it all absorbed then I pop it in the fridge to separate.

Im not sure why it didn't copy the first time. Give it a whirl. The apple cider bit can easily be excluded.

A note about temperature for the caramel. The higher elevation you are at, the higher the temperature you should aim for. I live at about 6,000 feet and I boil my caramel at about 252 for 5 or 6 minutes, this is also recipe dependent: i.e. how much water and fats to sugar ratio. When in doubt, get some cold water and drop a ball of your caramel into it to test hard/soft ball consistency. Other factors include what relative humidity you are cooking in. So sorry about fudging the link the first time around.
I make my space caramel for travel and take them through airports, someone can always tell when you start to chew though.

I really recommend using wax or wax bong reconstitute for the caramel, the taste is much better.
