Carbohydrate question?

I've used flora-nectar in the past and im about to try molasses this time around. I was told i need carbs and that these two things don't give the plant the proper carbohydrates. Is that right and if so any suggestions for a carbohydrate i can use?

I've pretty sure unsulphured molasses is the carbohydrate we're all talking about
I think teh problem is that some companies are basically selling people molasses and calling it miracle flower feed shit and charging you up the ass for what you could be in jars at the store for a few bucks
