Carbon filter and fan question

I'm not sure of the best placement of my fan and carbon filter. I have a 10in 700cfm fan on top of a carbon filter. I was going to leave it like that and run my ducting in this order. Carbon filter. fan on top, ducted to 5 air cooled hoods with 600w lights in straight line, then vented out of the building. Would this be ok or should I place the fan after the air cooled hoods right before my exhaust vent hole? Thank you

lol you need 2 fans that size to achiev that. what i would do is seperate the ducting and you might, let me repeat MIGHT be able to cool those lights with one fan. the situation your getting into you need 3 fans. unless of course they are all 400w then you still might have trouble just because of distance the air has to travel

My 1 600w has a inline fan and scrubber attached. the ambient air around the light is always 82+.

I think you will still have a heat bottle neck. most I would want on 1 fan would be 2 600w.

Thanks for the input everyone. What if I inserted a fan midway, say after the 3rd light? Also I have a 3 ton mini split A/C

i would put the fan on one end of the lights pulling the air out of them and the carbon filter on the other end of the lights.
