So I recently got a spider farmer tent and filter and the filter came with two bags of what looks like carbon and a metal piece that looks like a funnel. Are they refillable lmao

Yes and no.
You need a vibrator (not your wife's) to tamper the carbon bed properly otherwise it won't be as effective due to air gaps between the carbon pellets. Some guys refill them. I don't know of any personally. If you buy a new filter it should be factory filled and tamped

I figured I'd just set the filter on my dryer when it's running and let the vibration settle it. I just wasn't sure if carbon is what it actually is what they sent with the filter. It's two resealable bags. I figured if it was something just for say a moisture eliminator for the filter in storage it wouldn't be resealable bags.
