Carbon filter

Ok, yet again im so sorry for being such a total noob idiot but Ive been reading alllll night and i cant figure this question out for the life of me...
the great debate ona vs carbon filter right?
well can someone please tell me how you use a carbon filter if you have no exhaust pipe... I know this sound stupid... but its a one plant closet grow... no venting at all, i curculate air with a 3 speed fan / my closet door part open/ window to room open.
My plants only like 5 days into veg, but I need to figure this out... cause if I need ona I have to order it online Im just so confused....

Canadian, you don't need an exhaust but, you do need a fan, not a room fan. I think that most are in agreement that the filter works best on the intake side, suck, don't blow. A decent fan and filter are going to cost you, there are some DIY carbon filters in the DIY section. Just one plant in a closet? I think that I would go with the ona. Good luck!

I spent alot on my grow room and I did it all at once. But I just never bothered with the CF. But then again I have a set up that doesn't (really) warrant it. My grow is on the 2nd floor of a house. High above the back lots. Maybe the wind carries the odour it somedays--but im not sure anyone could pin-point the origin of the smell with just their nose. Also im only growing a couple plants at a time...if I had more plants--yeah I'd definitely consider a CF.

All im saying is that you have to make sure you know (beyond any doubt) that you actually need it.

if you only have one plant in a small closet , I would say to go with the ONA gel. I use ONA and it works wonders. It makes my house smell like linen.

Ok, ona gel, the ona pro fresh linen scent? I can only get that in the states but i can order it online. My question though, as ive read everything i can about ona, is, does it taint your buds with the ona smell? like can you taste it? I mean do I put it in the closet with my plant? or outside the closet? and sorry but how much do you use? I read something called ummmm rossemans odor control bucket, but this seems extreme in my case... also can you use this in the space you are drying in or does that taint the bud as well? Ugh sorry for so many questions but itd be so useful to get some answers from someone whos actually used it. As I said, Im a noob lol

And also thank you all for your answers So very helpful! Ive been hemming and hawing over what I need... Im slowly aquiring new stuff (i just bought 400w hps mh ballast kit) but i have to wait until I move again to use it lol So small little closet grows under cfls for me till then
