depending on fan size and cfm but a 6 inch fan 450 cfm and 6 inch filter will do

I just bought a Phresh Filter and cannot see how it could work any better. 6" X 24". Odor is GONE.

I noticed that it came with the Flange. The Can Filters require that you purchase the flange separately.

6" Phresh filter coupled with a Vortex 450 CFM.
Greners.com has good prices on fans/filters

as above filters do what they are meant to, no smell at all outside my grow room, just make sure your filters cfm rating is not lower than your fans cfm
