Carbonated water

Plants take in Co2 mainly through the leaves during photosynthesis. There have been studies that show they do take up very small amounts through the roots but not enough to have any effect.

There are also many different brands and types of carbonated water. Some are very high in sodium but all are going to be acidic. 4.5 pH is average with some being even more acidic. Not something you want to be watering your plant with. Sounds like a way to end up with problems. What's wrong with just plain water?
