Would it be safe to use carbonated water? Maby get a little bit of c02 in the dirt?
u can use it as a mist but do not use as watering solution.you can use it but you must really watch your humidy levels as a mist in flowering, excess can cause mold.i regulate humidity by having a ajustible exhaust fan control.leaves use co2, not roots.hope this helps!!

Hey Guys,
Let us not forget one VERY important thing. Roots NEED oxygen. If you over water your plants, the lack of O2 causes root rot. While I am the first to admit I am NO PRO, I do know that this would be murder to your plants. I have heard of using carbonated H2O as a spray to the leaves, but never to the roots. If you wish, grow one plant soley to experiment on. Don't do your entire crop or you will cry.

I've tried spraying carbonated water directly onto the leaves every so often, I got a good yield but couldn't tell ya if it was because of the carbonation. I only spayed it on the plants maybe once a week during flowering.

In theory it should raise the co2 levels around the plants...but enough to help? I don't know.

i have accually done a grow of 4 plants using carbonated water as a leaf mist on 2 the results seemed to be that tighter buds were on the carbed water plants.you must be very careful though because moisture in the flowering cycle does raise your humidity and it also magnifies the light and could cause burn.what i did was raise my light for a hour after misting then lowering it again,i misted 2x a day.hope this helps!!

p.s. also during the light high stage shut fans off so the leaves have a chance to take in the water!!!

Its been done but the amount of very small co2 versus the issues you ll have to fight arnt worth it. You need co air ppms of 1200-1500 with 80 degree temp and mistingg your plants maybe add extra 200 ppm for a few minutes which in all reality has no effect. You have to watch rot and burns. The co2 wont make buds tighter it improves growth and yield but not bud density
