cardboard Grow box and cpu filter

Just wanted to show everyone a few pictures of my compleated grow box. it is made almost entirely from cardboard and gaffa tape, including the carbon cpu filter (which works like a charm) for filtering out smell.


One problem i could do with help on is the noise that the filter makes, it's only a 24v 36db cpu fan. will masking the noise be easy? (moms getting suspisious) :leaf:

Wow does that scream fire hazard, but whatever floats yer boat dude. Your parents are gonna be pissed when they come home to a pile of ashes. If your mom is suspicious now, just wait until week 8 of flower. If you think that cardboard is gonna save you from the room REEKING of bud, I truly wish you the best of luck. And is that tin-foil? Do your homework and get some mylar, tin foil is pretty worthless.

Sorry to be an ass, but you are totally setting yourself up for failure.

Ya like Green Revolution said wait until your plants are ready there gona stink your whole room maybe even house up. I never grew at anyones house that didnt approve of it, just because of the fact that MJ smells the whole place up and there nothing you can really do about it, unless your venting the smell out of there. My best friend tried doing the same thing in his house with out his mom finding out and about 4 weeks into budding you could smell his stuff the whole way down stairs. Reguardless to say they never did get finished. As far as the fire hazard goes I think it will be ok since it looks like your running leds but i def wouldnt put a hps/mh in there and id be a little weary about even puting cfls in there. Good luck hopefully im wrong and your mom wont find it.

cool bro! i like that. im growing in a cardboard box myself.but instead of the pc fan i have a bathroom fan with 92 watts of cfl. that shit aint gonna catch fire.

it's fireproof i had the light on 24/7 2 weeks prior to germination and no it's not tin foil, it's radiator insulation. it's all good :P
