I'd really hope someone claiming to be qualified for a 72 plant grow would not "fuck it up"...one would hope he's already got some experience.and what happens when they fuck a crop up?

Finally someone that gets it. Yes everyone thinks because it's marijuana, something that benefits someone, that if you are a caregiver with quality medical grade marijuana, that you should only be doing this because of the kindness in your heart. I'm a grower that feeds my dog, my plants and then myself and put myself last compared to all that need something before me. So does that mean I shouldn't be compensated for my hard work and my time, so what's the big deal. There should be a 'DRAMA' Section on www.rollitup.org/drama so we could all sort through and list the important shit here. Or so at least the moderators could move these topics elsewherei've seen your posts and I am not going to debate with you, because you obviously already have your mind made up about this issue. i am going to try and explain it so you or anyone else can understand. so with your logic a maxed out caregiver is going to get a set amount no matter what. that just doesn't make sense. it does not matter how many plants you have. it goes by grams per watt per time. so at .5 grams per watt per month you are going to need a 6000 watt flower room to do 3056 grams every 2 months. also, most plants have a longer cycle than that. not to mention a veg room that can house 36 plants. so another 3000 watts of veg we'll say. cooling 9000 watts alone takes some knowhow. try making the initial investment to grow 60 plants, let alone the hours of work that would go into them if you really take care of them and take your garden seriously. i am not going to debate anyone on whether caregivers should make money. you just sound really jealous when you make posts like this. the only people making alot of money caregiving are the ones who have put in the time, let them do their thing. i understand that it costs less than a dollar a gram to produce, but alot of people just can't do it.
this could be the oldest stinkiest horse corpse ever dug up and beaten again. Dead god, I'm thru.
just because something is legal, it does not change the morality of it. either its medicine, and safe recreation, or its not. I go with the former.really bob. you are quite delusional, as I am the one here talking about protecting the patients. ALL OF THEM, while your only interested in protecting the ones YOU Deem worthy.
Not to mention robert or joe, or whoever you are, lets not forget you are the one that admitted to Growing and Slinging POT before 2008. I have never grown cannabis until after i was a legal and authorized Pt. Though I did smoke a lot of medicine since i was 13.
Nice try boob. your learning grasshopper, but you have so far to go son.
Costs are not that much after the initial equipment purchase....and the felony drug charge is moot. The care giver chose to take on that responsibility..he wasn't forced.
what's it cost to set up a 72 plant grow? 10-15 thousand? after that, it's basically electricity and minimal supplies. operating costs may reach 3 grand a month..including amortization of the original equipment....tale 6k off that 19k every two months, and thats around $80,000 per year in gross profits. and that's at only 200 per oz...bump it up to 250 an oz..and your back to 6 figures per year..for tending 72 plants....an executive wage for a part time gardeners work.
Exactly...!Here's the deal, bob. Is what you're suggesting going on? I'm sure it is. Just like there are people that abuse medicaid, food stamps, and unemployment insurance. There will always be abuse of things. We all need to focus on our own grows, and our own compliance with the law. If you yell loud enough about your perceived issues with the system, there may be some unintended consequences if the people in charge hear your beef.
But even if their are people growing 72 plants, and making a good sized profit from it, who the fuck cares? The way I see it is it keeps the cops busy chasing the people pushing the envelope, and they leave me and my legally compliant grow the fuck alone!

Im not supporting the other guy, just saying- fuck whats legal.do whats right.
Its not his fault. Most people in the MMJ world are not business gurus. Sure, anyone can make a fast buck any number of ways. But show me the numbers for an actual look at a professional operation as he discussed. With all necessary elements of insurance and licensing, etc. Until there is a model to discuss this is mental masturbation.yes sir, i am a whats right, now a whos right kind of person.
bobs just feeling a little butt hurt because hes realizing he has been swallowing his own bait and he has just realized it.
WTF! Am I invisible. I know that post may have been off topic but that seems to be the norm around here. Are you guys so wrapped up in your petty fights to even understand what that post is saying? Your lack of a response just proves my point!Today I attended a function at a growing supply outlet that was holding a raffle to give away a bunch of gear and nutes. I thought it would be good to meet some new folks and network a bit. I was there about four hours and about 100 people came through the doors in that time frame. Most stayed and waited for the raffle drawing. During this time I met and talk to several people and asked them a wide variety of questions including thoughts on The MMMA, the CPU, the 4 house Bills and the division of the leading members of the activist movement. To my surprise not one of the folks I spoke with including the owner and a couple of factory reps. knew anything. Zip nothing, One said the 3MA was the MMM report monthly magazine. Another said he has never heard of 3MA or the CPU. Others followed suite. The owner said "Those were just a couple of people who where fighting over who can come up with and register the coolest domain name." He contiued "It someones weekend hobby set up for what he called Forum Junkies." Not one person was aware of the 4 house bills, the vote in the state senate or the rally next monthin Lansing. Not one!
My point is this If Organizations like those listed above have failed to inform and educate the average joe on relevant issues concerning MM, the decisions/changes taking place at the State level that will directly affect those individuals, then they have failed as a activist movement trying to claim to be the voice of those people.
Stop the bullshit, reexamine your priorities and get the job done!
Activists educate themselves, It's the Average joe that needs your help.
You have already failed miserably!
You're right.....why else would you be completely ignored for any other jerk-off argument on earth no matter how tired and over with it may be? It's an american website with americans on it. jingle your keys, has the same effect on us; we're basically brain-dead like my kids when they walk in front of a TV screen *makes open mouthed gawk and stare face* I give up every day from this bullshit and here I am again I jsut can't stop with this shit it's like a gross dirty habit reading this bullshit...WTF! Am I invisible. I know that post may have been off topic but that seems to be the norm around here. Are you guys so wrapped up in your petty fights to even understand what that post is saying? It's not about you guys, it never was it never will be. Without the average MM patient on board your politically dead in the water.
