hey ya'll. I need to make.a career out of marijuana growing/distributing, its all I love, where do I start ? I'm a young business man

Yeah right. Start off by carrying coals to Newcastle. Give your general location and I will find the visiting hours at the closest prison. They are filled with experts on selling drugs.

No.

Stores will not be open for a year at the soonest.
You need a badge to work for medical grows. It will take months to get a badge.
Then you can work for about $8 an hour sling buds in a dispensary if you have nice boobs.
You might be able to work for a grower when you get a badge if you are lucky, for not much money.

If you want to move out here and grow illegally, you will not get as much money for your product as you would in other states.
Many dispensaries are selling decent weed for $25 an 1/8th.

If you want to be a player here, you needed to get going in 2009 if not earlier.
The legal growers I know are growing like crazy in anticipation of recreational stores opening.

Unless you have ~100-200k you aren't going to make any real money, at least legitimately.

You should go far.

You need a product that is better then the competition. Then you need to make it cheaper. Then you have to make lots of it. Then you got to get people to know about it. Most dispensaries are small family and friend owned operations. They only hire people they know and trust. They'll buy your products if the quality is good and the price is low enough, but this is becoming harder as more and more business owners are simply getting friends & family to grow for them to cut costs even more.

Also keep in mind we are in a bubble. The market is saturated with high quality cannabis. Prices are expected to take a dive, which is great for those who really need MJ, but with a crash comes layoffs and businesses closing down. You also have pressure from feds that isn't easing up. I'm constantly seeing shops close because they get raided multiple times in a year and customers flock away. The people who have a large network and strong customer loyalty are the ones who are going to pull through. Late bloomers have to innovate, just to get in.

So get to thinking about how you can do it better and cheaper, then make it happen.

Haha...u watch too much TV...if u have to ask the ? u asked ull never make it in the business....now days too much hungry completion w way more weed than u...cheaper than urs....n better too....this is what ull constantly b up against....sorry man...ull have to actually work in this life like everyone else.......edit completion for competition.....keypads messed up
