hi

i have been smoking for over 15years now.

at the mo its some top hydro grown skunk called ''tutti'' but neway my point and question is no matter how good/bad the smoke is i still get the worst munchies!

i mean real bad lol i just carnt stop eating to the point of feeling sick from eating so much.

Its that bad that i try not to smoke too often cause of it, but having recently starting to grow the not smoking too often has kinda stoped and im putting on too much weight.

i love being stoned just hate the munchies! what im finking/asking is do you think if i cook with weed and only eat it will it still give me the munchies so bad?

although ive smoked green for many years ive never really eaten it cooked properly.

If your body chemistry is such that you get the munchies everytime you smoke then the odds are that you will get them off of eating as well.

Best of luck.

who does want to eat haelthy? everyone knows that healthy means tasteless and junk means awesome! :) so if i'm smoking, and i have junk food, sure i'll eat it, but i realise that this is not a good diet (as i'm smoking from moment i'm home from work till bed :P) so whether it's what i'd like or not, i'll whip up a bowl of pasta, toss up a salad etc, and whether it's really what i want, i'll still end up enjoying it greatly :)

luckily or unluckily for me, regardless what and how much i consume, i cannot and have never been able to put on an ounce of weight, which would be great, only i'm too ksinny to start with so semi-fail! :)

fluids help greatly when hungry thought, things like milk and juice etc, fills you up, all good for you depoending what you've bought, and it will certainly cut your appetite, epecially with milk, that just fills you straight up :)

I basically "synchronize" my smoking and meals. While my food is heating up, I light up the pipe, and end up eating my lunch/dinner about 15-30 minutes after smoking. This greatly diminishes the munchies, and I'm eating food that I'd have eaten anyway. If I get a major sweet tooth attack, most often a couple of hard candies do the trick... they're much lower in calories than other sweets, and so long as you don't chew on them they last longer than your cravings do. I also keep trail mix around most of the time; it's high in fat and calories, but at least there's actual nutrition in there as well, especially if you mix your own; do NOT add candy to it or you're defeating the whole purpose of eating something that tastes good and is at least somewhat nutritious.

I simply fill up as much as possible on meals and snacks I'd have eaten if I weren't smoking. Drinking plenty of fluids also helps. I still have some major munchie attacks sometimes, but most often I can keep it in check by just thinking ahead about what I'll be eating and when before lighting up. ;)

Edibles can make me feel like I'm starving for hours on end! I can curtail the worst of it by having my meals about two or so hours after the edibles.
