cat ate the tops out of new germ seed?

damn cat ate the tops out of 4 new ones coming up, question will they grow new leaves or die off?

How much is gone? or how big was it to begin with? like the whole top of the plant? probably dead if you dont have any vegetative growth and just small roots left

I suggest getting rid of the cat and getting a dog. haha

or get a dog that will get rid of the cat when it trys to eat the plants again

I doubt if they will survive if the complete top is gone. Without any leaves, plants can't grow.

just let it grow and hope for the best. next time to keep your cat away from your plants chop up a chilli pepper(the hotter the better). soak it in some water and use a mister to spray it over your plants. it works to keep my cat away from my stuff. if you dont want to do that and have some catus growing, use the cactus as a shield or wall to keep your plant safe. some people use a cup of vinegar to keep their cats away but ive never tried it before so i dont know if itll work. oh with the chilli trick the cat might still bite your plant, but after it gets a taste of the chilli it wont go back afterwards.
