Cat fucked up my shit?

So like the beginning of this month my cats decided to dig up my baby plants and viciously murder them and use their home as a litter box... I cleaned up and planted some more seeds but they aren't growing... What is wrong? Did my cats rob me of a bunch of fresh dirt that cost me good money?

Possibly, if it sprayed or pissed on them. You might need some new soil, mate!

Flush the soil really well. Piss has ammonia in it, a usable form of nitrogen for the plant. Its just way too concentrated to do anything but hurt the plant, but if you rinse it out/dilute it down the soil will be fine. Unless there's mold or something growing in it.

I let my cats piss in mine all the time. Not that I LET them, but I know they do it from time to time (thank god they dont shred the dirt). My plants are in flower tho, so they are all huge. I imagine a cat pissing in soil could devastate a seedling.

You gotta treat your loving cats as a threat to your plants, install a chicken wire fence and or fill a coke bottle with water and leave with your plants, if the contaminated plants are below 6 inches then replant otherwise flush heavily

Jesus. Get new soil and quit screwing around. Really? Recycle cat contaminated soil for something that youre going to consume?
