Caterpillar problem suddenly two weeks before harvest please!

Hey guys,

So my plant this week has suddenly not looked healthy. I noticed spots or droppings on the leaves and buds. The leaves are suddenly turning yellow which I know can happen when the plant is almost finished flowering and ready to harvest. I just bought BT spray yesterday and sprayed the whole plant, hoping it kills the caterpillars and is safe for the flowers. I have about two weeks until harvest. Here are some pictures.

Agreed,more than two weeks but I wouldn't spray bt anymore will ruin flower tastes. Any worms will die now since spraying. Just have to be on top of em,pick off or find something organic some scent caterpillar hate. GL

Thanks! I appreciate it. I won't use the bt spray anymore. Just used it once yesterday when I discovered the caterpillar droppings. I noticed some bud rott which I don't know the whole extent of how bad it is. What do you do for that? Also the leaves are quite yellow too which isn't related to the Budd rott or caterpillars.

Not much can do now with the rot,we just cut it out and let her ripen up. It'll spread faster if you don't. Leaves probably lack of nitrogen. Doing some air flow earlier will help in powdery mildew which leads to bud rot. Cutting out fan leaves down low but not crazy. Outdoors is it's own chore. My area been tough, almost every one I know this year been hit with rot from humidity and rain.

How do I know which buds have bud rott? I was just going through some that had caterpillar poop on them and near the leaves. I did add some fox farms big bloom and tiger today with a gallon of water. That will be my last time adding nutrients since it's almost ready to harvest and I'll flush it with only water until then.

You said you noticed it. I would start there.
Google for reference photos.
 
You'll know if you got rot I doubt you do. Just rinse buds off with a light spray for poop. You can take a knife easy and just look around and see brown moldy clumps you'd see it. Yours are to small not dense for rot. I'd do another feed after that what directions say. Those buds should swell 30%or more next few weeks.

You kinda have to abuse them some just to see what's in there.
Bud rot and bud worm are two different things. Worms generally ruin the buds they are in and get trashed. Rot can be removed if caught early and still leave some bud. But you have to get rid of all the rot and sometimes doing that ends the bud anyway.
Look at it this way, you just got your BT lesson. That's good for life :)
 
Well bad news. I started feeling all the buds and they would come apart really easily. I ended up throwing the whole plant away. I think the caterpillars caused lots of damage however I think the bt spray caused the buds to get super soggy and fall apart when I barely would search for caterpillars. We have been getting high fog and humidity as well. Super bummed. I'm sure some of it was salvageable. I almost want to buy a mini greenhouse for next grow.

Bt wouldn't of caused that it's from humidity and fog. Need to cover at night then uncover in morning. Spray bt in veg early flower stop spraying a month or so before ready. Sucks bud, that's all everyone i know been hit with rot. Keep trying..

I definitely agree with the humidity. However I mixed a gallon of water with the bt spray as recommended on the package and the water got sprayed which you don't think could make the buds soggy?

Not once it would be just like if it rained out.
