Cause of ppm rise...

I have a question maybe some more experienced growers who have seen this can answer. How can in one day my ppm go from 550 to 720? I just changed the res and added maybe 1/3 strength b/c i'm just getting over a small nute problem. Its on drip irr. and the only solution i've added since last checked is 1/4 t of Ph down. Could it be runoff from whats still in rockwool??

Could be, try flushing longer between res change. Ppm also goes up when the plants are using more water than nutes.

these are from seed in their 24th day, ive only changed the res once and didnt flush btwn. Im growing in rockwool and hydroten on a drip. What is the std of if and how much to flush btwn res changes? thanks 4 the info

its sometimes okay for them to use more water than nutes, but if it keeps continuing you most likley have a nutrient lockout which is usually cause by pH or mixing the nutrients the wrong way, how do u mix your micro gro bloom?

Im using BC nutes, 4 days ago noticed some limey- colored leaf edges and the 1st node leaves on all plants were wilting and dying. I cleaned out the res and filled w/ 5 gal distilled Ph 5.8-6 and few teaspoons epsom salt b/c i thought maybe i had a mag problem. I dripped 3x -30 min over 3 days to try and flush then changed the res w/ prob 1/4 strength nutes. i thought i might have been overwatering them and that that was part of the issue so i didnt want to flush to much.

they might just be coming back from that, personally im not a beleiver in epsom salt or anything like that so i dont know about that stuff, but just give em some time theyll pick back up, with a flush comes a small stunt sometimes theyl be ok
