CBD strain help

I am looking for someone with the knowledge to point me in the right direction to find some seeds of a good cbd strain. I have xero experience with cbd strains but am wanting to make some cbd oil for my elderly mom . She has had tremendous success for her rheumatoid arthritis with it over the past two years. I am looking to free her from the forced providers out there much like I have done for myself.
Cheers :)

The most important deciding factor, in my opinion, to narrowing down CBD strains is to figure out what ratio of THC to CBD works for you. The most common strains (easiest to find) seem to be the 20:1 (roughly) CBD to THC strains. Strains such as ACDC, Cannatonic, Charlotte's Web etc. Personally I prefer 1:1 ratio strains but even 4 or 5:1 CBD to ThC strains are good too. I find that the closer you can get to a 1:1 ratio of CBD to THC is best for pain relief. I like 1:1 strains like Pennywise or Midnight. A good 4 or 5:1 strain is Critical Cure. My understanding is that the 20:1 or so strains that have 1% THC at best are mostly used to treat seizures but you really need some THC on par with the CBD levels if ou are going for pain relief.

This is just what I've read and found out myself. I suggest trying all sorts of strains til you find the ratio that works. CBD Moby Dick, Sunkist, Pennywise, Critical Cure, Cannatonic, ACDC, Charlotte;s Web, Midnight...

Thank you that helps. It took me 3 years to convince her to finally try it because it wouldn't get her high. She has for two years now been pain free and avoided a second hip replacement. The oil she has been using has zero THC in it. The CBD prevents the inflammation that causes her pain from what we can tell. I just figured I needed a zero THC CBD strain but maybe I am wrong?
I believe she has been getting it from a place called sciencelabs? might be wrong on that I will have to verify.
Cheers :)

You definitely feel the THC in CBD strains that have more than 1% THC but the CBD regulates it. For example, a strain that has zero CBD and 10% THC would feel much stronger than a strain that has 8% CBD and 10 % THC. What I really find interesting is that most typical sativa strains make me anxious and even a bit paranoid if they are really strong. Yet a lot of the CBD strains out there are sativa dominant and the CBD content makes the THC less intense and I can really enjoy the sativa effects for once without any unwanted side effects. Obviously everyone feels things different;y but I find this a neat thing with CBD. If the zero THC products are working then maybe you don't need to go looking much further. Clearly, the more THC you enter into the equation the more likely the user is going to feel a buzz.
