Ceiling requirements for 1000w DE using adjust-a-wing reflectors.

Just trying to optimize gym grow room, running 4 single ended 1000w lights rn with an 8ft ceiling. I'm either adding 2 more or switching to DE with adjustable wing reflectors. (Which would be ideal that way I'm not adding 2000kwh + whatever increases in cooling cost. The rooms 11.5x12.5x8

I run 6 600w hps in the same size space as yours with built in aircon/heatpump & 6” exhaust I can just keep temps at the higher end of manageable. I dont think I would be able to keep 6 1000’s under control. I’d stick to 4000 or go double ended if thats an option for ya
