CFL actual wattage

alright i got 2 300 watt CFL twist lights, their actuall wattage is 65 watts, but the guy at lowes said they give off 300 watts of light each, what do u guys think about using these 2 lights on seedlings for about a week or 2?

i would only use them for about a week or 2 so they dont get burned by the 400 watt mh/hps system when they go under that.

What are the lumens and what is the color spec. ?

These will be fine to start off with, just make sure when the seeds sprout and become a young plant that you don't burn them. Put your hand under the lights(on) and when you can handel the heat is a good distance from your plants

i dont have the bulb with me at the moment i left it at my buddies, but im almost positive that it puts out 3,900 lumens, and as for color spectrum, its a white light, from the looks of it, it seemed that it gave more of a blueish tint.
