CFL and HPS Grow closet aeroponics

I have 1 130 watt cfl and a 400 watt HPS set up in my closet, it is about 2 ft in depth, about 4 ft wide and maybe 6 ft high. do you think that its necessary to have to 130w cfl aswell as the 400w hps?

I have, so far, 2 seeds that i germinated and have just planted in rock-wool right under the cfl light. How long do you think i should wait until i put them into the netted pots with the clay balls in the aeroponics system...?

I will post some photos for a little more detail... The seeds aren't anything special just bag seed but im getting some white widow from buydutchseeds should be coming in week or so

Id keep them under the cfl only for 2 weeks or so untill the root structure and leaves will allow the young plant to even use the POWER your about to throw its way .
and youll save a bit on ya power bill *shrug* ...
Id then use the cfl / hps for a mixed spectrum through veg .. and probably just the hps at the end .

once your root hairs come out the bottom put the rockwool into the nets , 400watt hps is plenty for 2 plants if ure not veggin to long

alright yeah once i see some sets of leaves coming through ill start 24 hrs of cfl for about 3 weeks till the plant is a good height then ill give it some major wattage for the flowering may also use both of them halfway thru veg.. sounds like a good idea..

got another question though, got some ducting with a fan on the end of it for the exhaust for whn the hps is workin but i also got a little fan slowly blowing just to move the air around a bit, and later on the get a good stalk on the plants, do you think its essential to have the fan blowing on or round the plants at this stage? ill get those photos up in a sec may help

j/k everything looks clean , your doing a lot of things right .. dark resivouir , minimal bending in the exhaust / intake ...dunno how much thoose puter fans will push through what looks like 8 inch pipe .. but it may work . If that is the 400w hps in the reflector and not a cfl you may be in toruble that close to the seedlings ... although the light is bright white ish so its probably a cfl .. thoose types of reflectors get very very hot ... and you may need to up the cooling .. when you break the big guns out .

haha ok cheers yeah ill get both fans running exhaust and cooler when i bring in the HPS

okay so far ive set everything up, put the clay balls in the pots with the grow cubes. im just a bit concerned that the water that is spraying from the bottom is not hitting the grow cubes..? the water is pretty muching spraying across the bottom of the netted pots but there are roots coming from the bottom of the cubes but not out of the pots yet....? is this okay? replyy!!!

There is a direct relationship between properly posting pictures and the ability to grow.

everything is fine now just wondering how long i should veg for with my 400 watt hps lights and how big they will probably grow in 6 weeks. Strain is white widow

My seeds have just arrived and i am germinating them right now very excited about them arrived well from BDS seed bank.
