can i simply replace a standard bulb in my table lamp to a CFL bulb? if so is there any restriction to watt? and what watt would you recomend for just a 1 flower grow?
yes you can put a cfl in a standard lamp. U don't really have to worry to much about wattage for cfls. cfls are designed to save energy and thus produce more light for less watts. I have one plant and i run 4 - 26 Watt daylight CFLs. Thats 26 actual watts used each. Pretty much the more light the better. Hope this helped some

yes, but a desk lamp or other with a reflector utilizes the light better.
There is a whole forum dealing with growing with CFLs here: https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/
