The only wiring i used was from old power cables, like cables cut from the tv, anything with 2x prongs.

your a bit of a magyver mate haha good on ya. I might just grab some wiring from mitre10, cant find any wires to cut up
and i only need about 2 batten holders seen as these plants will be going outdoors in the not to distant future (:

I've just looked at my wiring and it looks as though it doesn't matter which way you hook it up seeing as how the light bulb will work whatever way you put it in. Just hook them up and don't worry about the ground pin at the bottom of the plug, only the + and -

righteo sorry i havent posted a update in a while, been a 12 hour day today and im about to go get shit faced so il make this brief.
I MADE A PIVOTAL TACTICAL ERROR.
forgot to turn on the F***** light for my plants :( i dont think they were to bothered infact they seemed to have grown a little. ah well.
noticed a little brown discolouring on my younger plant, quite sure its just a burn from the leaf touching the cfl for like 7 hours. can barely see it in pics.

Don`t matter that much in veg in flower though you`ll need to keep a constant 12/12 cycle when flowering though or to get them to flower . It`s not much to worry about peace dude .

That doesn't matter at all. You can interrupt the dark cycle as much as you please during veg. Some people even go 24 hours during veg. But interrupting the dark cycle during flower will be dangerous.

Thanks for the reply fullas,

I read on here that interrupting dark cycles make your plants more likely to be hermies, but who ever wrote that must not know their stuff :P
i finally got round to transplanting. went quite smoothly, good healthy roots as well. just want growing season to come so i can put these babies outside! Will post pics later if I dont fall asleep.

hello all

I post this update with the utmost sadness :( i have quite badly burnt my babies, well one of them anyway. I was lazy and didn't secure the light properly and it slipped down and onto one of the seedlings. I would say they will pull through but some input would be very appreciated. Finally got another light wired up and going! stoked, will put the other light in when the time is right.
