what is the difference between soft white cfl's and bright white cfl's? which one should i use if im starting out?:evil::blsmoke::peace::peace:

softs burn at 2500 degree kelvin,good for flowering and whites burn at 5500-6000 degree kelven,good for vegitative growth

dont waste ur money on like 6 spirals,get a 125watt cfl,they work great,u can get them at homeharvest.com,its a cheap and reliable sight,u will get ur product like 4-5 days after u buy

a 125 watt CFL puts out 5500 lumens. 5 26 w CFLs put out a combined 8000 lumens, and cost less than a third of one of the 125 w bulbs altogether. Why get a 125w CFL?

mine puts out at 12000lumens what site u lookin at?a 125 is just easyer cus it one bulb that u have to arange and worry about.u dont need to keep reposition it over and over,just once every 2-3 days

Ill give you that, CFL's are a pain to work with, constantly moving them. Damn, 12000 lumens isn't bad. Do you have a link to the one you purchased?

just to throw something in here something is to be said for having multiple points of light (like having 6 23w) it discourages stretching and exposes parts of the plant that wouldn't get as much light normally.
