Ok I have a total of 30,000 L, 21 cfls mixture of both 2700, 6700 but most r 2700-3500L will that b enough for a 20 site resivor n a 4ft long by 2 1/2ft wide 10ft tall closet, this is for flowering stage
Yelp on top on tha sides, 13 all 100-150w on top and 8 60w on the sides,it depends on how you arrange your lights where they are gettin it from sides as well as top.
only if you grow SOG no more than 18 inches when finished, even then it is not great nad also mixing the light with cfl is not brilliant either. 6500k cfl have the best spectrum for vegging out of any lights and mixing flowering cfls (2700k) really does nothing but give inadequate lighting. What's your basis for the opinion on spectrum in veg? The dominate view is that mixed light is preferable in all stages. In fact, in nature sunlight goes from mostly blue in spring to mostly red in late summer. So I need 10000L a sq foot, what would b a amount of lumens for a 20 site resi.That's 3000 lumens per sq ft, enough but not nearly optimal.
it doesn't matter how many lumens a bulb produces, it only matters how many they deliver to the target. If you have them in close so all the light is hitting the grow area you can just divide the number of lumens by the number of sq ft. That can be as little as 3000 per sq ft but 5 or 6 is better. I kno, but my lights r hanging down and not across so that wouldn't work, thanks n e way, but n e otha ideas r welcomedutilize pop cans reflectors them work amazingly well!!
