CFL Grow: Blueberry

Nice grow, I got a Blue Widow that is crossed w/ Blueberry. I to grow w/CFLs, just started my second grow. Good luck

There looking really nice . healthy and bushy what size pots you using?

cant wait to see the yield. I just started some blueberry 2 days ago and i dont know much about the strain but my grow is set up similar to yours. Hopefully ill have similar results.

blueberry are great plants i have sum 13 days in flower i induced at 13 inches and top twice and fimmed once, and MANNNNN i must say this strain responds well to topping and fimming i now have like 13+ colas on each plant and there are all 25 inches tall, after beening topped, but the yield gonnas be rewarding by the look of how many colas i have

Did you germinate from seed or are these clones? I've looked at your journal, I don't think you mentioned it.
Because I grow w/CFLs I try to follow everybodys journals that grows w/CFLs on the net. I can get a HPS, perhaps down the road, but I'd rather spend my money on the larger spiral CFLs when I can. Also I use a few 26 watters doubled up on a y socket mounted onto my exposed walls. Plant does kinda shitty if it does not get enough light on it's backside as it sits against the walls and of course a closet has 3 walls, 1 door. I use 1 26watt, 6500k and the other is 2700k, so my gals get a mixed spectrum on their backside. I figured it will increase my yield by 10-15%.

Im actually using pieces that I cut out from an old grow tent. It works really good, reflects the light on the inside and blocks any light from entering because it has the panda film black layer on the backside

That sounds pretty sick! Im trying to get some pollen still so I can make some strains like that. I really want to cross Blueberry with some White Russian. I was thinking of calling it a Blue Russian or Blueberry Ruski's, haha.

2 gallons; I use to use 3 gal. but there was always a lot of room left so Im hoping I should be able to get the same amount of growth I was getting before using less dirt, nutes, and space.

Thanks brah. Im actually using the 3 part GH series but I also have Floralicious Plus, FloraNectar, Hydroplex (just started using it last week), Hygrozyme, and Superthrive. I kind of follow the chart but with the GH series Im able to control everything the plants get and am constantly tweaking it. Im thinking of switching to the Humbolt line-up after im finished with using the GH. I noticed they have the EXACT same nutrient ratios but its organic. Every time I water, I usually use about 1/4 strength and the rest RO water. Ive also started foilar feeding this time around. Flora Plus works great for once every couple of days and I use drinking water for every other time.



And yeah, these BB, loved being topped! They didnt skip a beat after I chopped em and now theyre tops all over the place

Wow those plants look very happy. I bet those girls will look very sexy when they flower.

Blueberry sounds like a great strain, can't wait to see how she turns out!

My single Blue Widow is crossed w/Blueberry, but surely does not look anywhere close to yours, my leaf structure is more indica. Take a look.

My Blue Widow is healthy as hell and doing great, can't wait to get her trimmed in a couple of weeks. I'd like to get 6-8 main colas from each plant this run. My 1st run I let all my gals grow out to harvest, this time I'm regenerating all of them. I'm going to keep all my ladies trimmed back to acheive that lollipop cola grow structure. Then after harvest when they turn around back into vegetation, gonna clone the ones I want to keep in my Stash/Cellar, others I'll grow out/harvest. My growing goals is to start 4 new stains every other month. Between 24-30 strains each year. Every since my 1st successful grow, I have had the grow fever. After my 1st grow, I thought I'd take some time off from it, regreted doing it now, cuz my 2nd grow would be a week or so from harvest right now, had I just restarted right after my 1st harvest, live and learn I guess.
Right now I have Columbian Gold, Critical Kali Mist, Mazar x White Rhino, Red Dragon, Blue Widow, White Widow, Carnival, and regular Bubbledelicious in the mix. That's 8 strains in this grow. Oh hell yeah, imagine harvesting 8 different strains in about 13-14 weeks.

Sounds good Fader! I wish I had that many strains and enough room to grow em all. Ill be sure to check out your grow.

Updates:

Lots of upgrading and work going on this past week. I hope you dont all lynch me for treason but I hooked up my 400W HPS. Temps are cooler and I want a nice fat and dense harvest! I know youll all understand I had to get a new tent, a Secret Jardin dr100 and a can filter and fan. I have to say that the SJ tents are the SHIT! They covered every single base when they were designing these things and I couldnt be more happier with my purchase. If youre going to get a tent, get one of these. They are costly, but most definitely worth the money! Especially when you buy a cheap tent and you later realize what a hunk of shit it is...

Im going to be setting up a little veg room in my other cab. I plan on installing a shelf in the middle and having a Aerogarden on the bottom for seed starting and clones and using the top shelf for a vegging area with the 125W 65K CFL. Im gonna finish that up this weekend and Ill post some pics.

As for the plants, Theyve just finished up the 2nd week of flower and everything is looking great! Theres a good amount of buds showing for being so early in flower, so hopefully I will get that fat harvest.

Well, ended up getting high and felt 'creative,' so I finished up the veg cab. It turned out pretty good and didnt take to long.

That's what happened when I got high last weekend. I built an ebb and flow system.

That looks good too! I'm sold on the topping and lst, come check mine out nas when you get a chance. I topped her twice and then lst'd, she's just starting to flower aswell at about the same size.
