im still a novice but i would say yes depending on how many you plan on doing keep them closejust wondering would a 125w 6400k blue cfl bulb do for vegging and then a 250w 2700k red cfl do for just a few auto's..?
That would be an efficient alternative. I'm gonna have to look into that. It's weird for me. My room stays about 65-80 degrees but my tent never drops to lower then 75. Even with the temps getting down to 65 it stills stays warm. I currently have a 6" booster for fresh and a 6" vortex on a speed controller for exhaust. Any ideas in how to keep it cooler? I have a 6 bulb t5 fixture with two 2' 4 bulb t5 fixtures. Totaling in at about 540 actuAl watts.
thanks bro cant wait thinking flowering in 2 more weeks maybe 3
hell yeah did 3 grows with them got some very nice dense fat ass nugs off 20 cfls i switched this grow to a 600 cuz i'm using the same energy and figuured why not get more yield from a better light. i will never talk shit on cfls i do have proff if done right you can get some bomb ass qualityhave u ever flowered w cfl's? do yr buds come out dense or fluffy?
Depends in the sq ft if your area, how much actual watts you have of cfls and also how close you keep them. Quality wise you will be good but you do lose some density.
I guess I should of said that differently. Maybe not density but overall size. My cfl grows came out awesome. But compared to this hps they are quite a lot smaller. Like you though, I have nothing bad to say about cfls.
true that you said it fine bird you really did i was getting 7gram nugs dry weight off my shit with cfls hoping to pull about a 1/2 oz head cola of this new shit
I'm with you man. Hoping for at least double as well.![]()
yep need to get back in the groove of things my outdoor just really bummed me out this year time for the indoor and bein more focused
I'm sorry to hear that. Seeing your last indoor grow you should have no problems. Itsucks growing outdoors because you are dependent in the weather. I can't wait to see what you do with that big light.
thats fucking awesome--
