It's reaching for the light. Bring the light closer. If to much heat is being put off, run a fan to cool things down.

thats kinda what i thought but i already had it so close.. well i just moved it like within 2inches of the plant.. it started stretching like that when like light was like 4inches away.. so i guess i need to give it time now before it flattens back out.. any idea how long it might take it to correct its self?

Yeah. And you know, when its time for your light to go off, the leafs will flatten back out too.

it seemed like they stayed like that over night.. i have on 18/6 and when i wake up (about 3hours after the lights go one) they are stretched like that... we'll see tomorrow. im thinking of getting 1 more light in there tonight

Yeah, more CFL light couldn't hurt. Just be sure to keep the temp down. (average between 70 and 80 degrees F) Your leafs should be fine. Mine do that every once in a while. It'd no big deal. If your leafs change color, then THAT'S when you may have a problem. Until then, keep up the good work. You're doing good.

it stays under 85 degrees in there.. the fan helps out.. i think the temps are fine right now.. did u see my cotyles turning yellow? is that normal? other than that the color on the plants are all great

Yeah, that's normal. They don't stay for long. They fall right off. The ones on my current plants have completely turned from yellow to brown, and fallen right off.

ah alright cool. i decided that i was trying to light to big of a space with the lights i was using so i build a box about half the size to try and utilize more light.. i think that might work out better.

the walls are white, and it just seems so much brighter in there.. but i just got up and they are still stretched out..

i dont get it.. i see peoples pics with less light than me and their plants look fine.. i dont get why they are doing that

Well, I woke up this morning and my plants were like that. They still are. I think when they do that it's also a sign of speedy growth. IDK, just makes sense. It seems my plant only does it right before it grows a lot.

well a lot of plants do that its OKAY once it matures it will look normal the leaves are small and light so its easy for them to reach for the light it looks fine the stem hasnt stretched so leave the light where it is. my last grow did this its FINE good luck on the grow man

alright, well see how it goes.. it actually is my 2 fastest growing plants that are doing it.. the one that is growing slow looks normal.. thats why i was so confused.. thanks for the input guys
