CFL help please

Hi guys I switched my plant to 12/12 a week and half ago . I had a shitty 75 watt led . Wasn't doing the job for flowering . So I got this 250watt CFL red spectrum for flowering will it be any good ? Just doing the 1 plant . I'll send some pics . Just in the process of putting some reflective material in the space . Also waiting on a hanger and reflector for my light. the more light the better to a certain extent, can you put the led in there too? the relective material needs to up now. drop the cfl a little lower i would say. in the end you will get buds, not as many grams as you would like but you will get good buds from a cfl.

I put the LED up on the side coz I can't find anything to hang it from above. The lower part of the plant could do with some light anyways . Will it do? I have moved the plant a bit closer I need it a lil closer thought but I will sort it tomorrow as it's lights out time for it in about 10 minutes haha. I'll send a pic. Moved my light the other way as I didn't like the pressure that was been put on the bulb . Them baby's can blow if damaged whilst on aha

i have some powdered diatomaceous soil that is dangerous to breathe as it is a carcinogen..i wear a mask as .i mix it with my soil and occasonally sprinkle it on my plants. i have heard others say putting a layer of sand will work to stop them as well.

Fungus gnats are sons of bitches..anyway as far as lightings concerned, the more the merrier, especially with CFLs, because to really be effective they need to be as close as possible without burning them. Try some low stress training and tie down those tall branches until you have an even canopy...then you can bring the lights closer so all the bud sites are getting as close to an even distribution of light as possible. If you can, go to the hardware store and find some cheap 23watt or higher 2700K CFLs and get them burning in there on the bud sites furthest from the light..Good luck man, looks healthy as fuck for a first grow!:eyesmoke:

High mate iv got my 200w 2100k at about 4 inches away from the canopy iv also lst my two plants to fuck cos cfl don't really penetrate the cananopy like HPS or led do, your only putting out 250watts at about foot away

After 2feet it's more like 65 Watts persquarefoot you can get those big bulbs really close to the canopy like 2-3 inches away and you won't damage your buds

The further away u have it the more whispy bud you get

Cheers bro. They are definitely budding but just dunno if they are gonna be too whispy or not lol the lights as close as I can get it without burning it haha
