Growman what up mane? Gmac your thinking you got a lil nute burn. That what I was thinking with that pic you posted last night. Ya deff flush, and prolong it probably like 4-5 days for switching to flower nutes. Also what kinda water you using? Tap and if so are you letting it sit out atleast 24 hours for you use it?

yea im using tapp water and no im not sitting it out but io do have a PH adjuster

aight cool cool. Try and save enough bottles/milk cartons to fill your res and make sure you sitting your tap water out for atleast 24 hours to get all the cholrine out of it.

Alright man I got all my lights and everything I need today. I set it up and tested the temps tonight. I can get it down to 65 F with 12 Cfls burning lol hahahahahaha I feel impowered lol. I wanna get a purp strain now so I can smoke some purple. With those kinda temps I'll def be able to turn any indica a lil purple. I don't have pics yet but I'll just tell you my light set up. I have two power strips on either side of the box, each with three plug in light sockets. The two outside sockets have y splitters in them with two 14w 2700k bulbs in them. The middle bulbs are 23w 2700k. Then I have two hanging 85w bulbs, one is 6500k, and one is 3000k. I should have pics tommorow. In all I have 15,200 lumens with 12 bulbs. I am amazed that I can run that many bulbs with such low temps. I am looking to get a good harvest. I started germing my seeds also, I did 2 Arjans Haze #1 fem, 1 G13 Gigabud fem, and 1 Great White Shark fem. And I'm using 2 liter bottles with the tops cut off for pots. The soil will be roots organics soil. And I will start the seeds in peat moss plugs hopefully tommorow if they are all germed.

Ya man when I got it all done and set up and I ran it for a few hours and checked the temps I almost shit my pants. I have never seen temps that low. I mean with just the 2 85watters those kick out some heat. I guess the small space and the 2 BIG fans running I can maintain these types of things.

Naw man not until tommorow. The only cam I got is my webcam and I'm drunk and don't feel like climbing up in the attic with my laptop to get pics lol. I'll snap some pics when I'm painting the boxes black tommorow. The lil space ship glows like a motherfucker man. I deff recomend this type of set up. Heres the price list. Luckly I already had ALOT of this stuff.

3. 2 85w bulbs from stealth hydro (when I first started growing I got these) 34.99 each.

6.Stanely fan from walmart, 49.99 (luckly I already had this from a christmas gift from when I used to work as a mechanic as a shop fan lol).

Man this is a small set up and I bet you could run up to 8 plants with the two liter coke bottles. Well your in hydro but I mean I you could even do a soiless mixture like 100% perlite or 50% perlite 50 vercumlite. It would be almost like hydro just without pumps and shit and you would have to hand water but, I think this set up is very stealth and has the oppurtunity of running close to an oz from each plant if I do it right.

tell me more about growin in perlite? wat do i need?

ok so today i got myself a 70watt HPS i know das not much but better then nothingand i began flowering 12/12. I also top two of my plants but not sure if i did it rite
so now my setup up is five CFL 27 watt 6500k and one 85 watt CFL 6500k and jus added one 70 watt HPS and i also accidently spilled sum homemade C02( yeast sugar and water) in my resevior will this hurt my plants in any way?

Get that hps bulb alot closer to the plants. It might be small be upclose it can still be good. I'd try like 10-12 inches at first and then see if you can move it closer. Rule of thumb is the light isn't too close if you can put your hand right over the top of the plant and its comfortable. I'd use that to lower that hps and kinda get some light to all of the plants. I can really tell if you have topped them right. Check google for topped marijuana plants it will bring up pics

yea i lowered that light after i took the pics it was too far

and sumtime this week imma put those CFls on the side

Aight thats a good thing. You say you turned to 12/12 today too? Thats good leaving the topping alone now. You should see preflowers in about 21-25 days letting you know the sexs. Generally males grow faster/taller/etc.... and show early than females. They will tend to take the whole 25 days of 12/12 before you see preflowers. Although if you veg still they are sexually mature example: When the plant is mature it will stop growing fan leaves directly across from each other, they will start having one on one side then move up and one on that side and so on and so forth. These plants will show sex faster also. It takes close to 2 month veg time to get them mature and growing like this in the veg stage. They automatically keeping doing this during flower. So it is just a faster rate.
