personally i buy the lamp holder whips dont know how to explain them but you can find them in home depot or walmart type places then i add a y connector so i can run 2 off of one cord you will need very minor electrical knowledge for my method very minor basically all i do is splice these whips into extension cords I use flattened round ductwork for reflectors works good i have 6 bulbs in each reflector and a few of the 9.5 inch parabolic clamp on reflectors . Now that i think of it these are much easier to use as you will need no electrical knowledge whatsover. I found them with the lightbulbs at walmart they are clamp on reflectors very easy to use and move I also put y connectors in these. they cost 9.44 a piece which seems reasonable to me you can also dismantle a lamp and use just the cord and the bulb socket
