I'm in the same boat as you! i have 23 actual watt CFL that im planning on growing with just waiting for my seeds to arrive, I was planning on get at least 8-10 because mine are 5000K..... and then planning to have like 2 2700K 23w at the same time i read around the forum that the plants love it. Also you need some good circulation of air.

for baby seedlings one or two is more than enough for the first 9-14 days. you can easily kill a popped seedling with too much light.

18-24. its debatable. i use 18/6 just because i now have a new veg/clone/drying room that i have lots of work room in and i like to let the girls rest a little.

well I've read around here that most people use 100W per plant so im 100w would be great, r u gonna make a grow journal? i would love to see the development of your plants

100w for minimal yield, like superstoner said add as many as you can untill you cant control the heat

5 CFL's would be great. I would try to get 3 on top of the plant and 2 around the sides once it gets a bit taller. 24/0 is just a waste of electricity and money.

got a question how many 23w/100w replacement you use for one plant
I use 8 68 true watt (home depot 16.00 a pop) and 1 250 true watt (100.00 at my local hydro) and they work awesome! Hardly use any electricity (don't even notice any change in bill). Oh yeah, and I run 12/12 from seed with great results.

Ive been feeding it twice a day to ensure stable soil. i use general organics line of nutes. right now for htis seedling im using a heavy feed of Bio Roots, CaMag+, Bio Thrive Grow, Diamond black 9 & Bio Weed.
