how many lights whould i need for flowering only one plant

atm im only useing 1 2700k 26w clf and 1 3500k florest tube

People say around 100w per plant of CFL's

I personally would use around 8 of the 26w CFL's or 5 of the larger cfls not sure of the wattage.

that seems like alot for only 1 plant its only about a foot and ahalf and its starting to show hairs and i have only bin useing the 1 26w

im thinking maybe 1 100w i dont wanna put 2 much so it gets 2 hot

You will need 100w minimum for 1 plant and 50w for each add'l plant. So 4 26w bulbs for 1 or 6 26w bulbs for 2. Heat shouldn't be much of an issue with the cfl's. i ran 513w in a 2x4x4' closet.

so i added 2 23w cfls all i could find at the lowes near me going to homedepot to check for 100ws sometime soon

I flowered 1 plant with one of those big 68watt cfl and one 42 watt clfs with rather nice results.

for around 15 bucks homedepot has a very large 65w cfl. it is really huge though so you might have trouble mounting it, but you should check it out. that way you can have less bulbs and more space.

well am using 3 80 watt cfls to flower 4 plants and i was worried that i was flowering slow but my plants are more sativa than indica so i think its fine at 60w per plant
