Cfl lights

I'm flowering some white widow x snow white. Lights are on 12/12 schedule and they are flowering nicely.They are into the fourth week of flowering. My question is this. I'm using 8-100 watt 6500 and 5000k bulbs for 2 nice bushy plants. Do I have too swap bulbs too 2700k or can I keep using the 5500+6500k bulbs?

You don't necessarily have to switch bulbs but the 2700k (soft white) bulbs do encourage bud growth more than 5000k and 6500k, I'd recommend either swapping out 4-6 of those bulbs or adding a bunch of 2700k bulbs to your current set up. They really are much better, the reasoning behind it is that when you get to the end of your summer season (the tilt of the earth dictates the seasons right?) the tilt of the earth also dictates the wavelength of light that we get for those 12 hours of daylight (even though it's more in real life), so as far as your plants are concerned, it's all about convincing them that it's the end of summer and time to bloom.

As the poster above said, 2700k aren't NEEDED but the light spectrum helps to boost flowering. I have never tried to flower with anything other than 2700k CFL's. and personally I hardly think flowering with those are even worth your while to be honest. Goodluck though.
