CFL plug adapter

Hello all,
i've used the search function and googled and still cant find my answer. i see in grow journals people using for CFL these adapters that plug in right into the wall. no extension cord. is there a formal name for these adapters? :) thank you! Desmond.

i get them from home depot. i think walmart has them cheaper. this is what i have, but not used yet.

O i see. I guess i would just rather build something but that is a good idea for a quick and simple setup. Thanks for the knowledge.
