Cfl set up help !!

Ok. Built this sunday. 70w hps. 2-45w cfl. 4-23w cfl. Might add t5s also. The pics look dark but its bright as hell in this box and temp is in low 70's. Also put this northern light clone in the old flower room. Been under that $10 45w ebay light since it was in starter cup. Started sept 28

You're probably going to want better lighting if you want anything from that. CFLs typically need to be within 2" of the plant, I believe, which requires a lot of reposition and hassle. If you can't afford COBs, at least get yourself a proper T5HO setup. Less hassle, more professional, proven to work. There's also the ViparSpectra V300 or V450. I've used it, it works, and it's relatively inexpensive.

Otherwise, nice hodgepodge grow room. The plant seems to at least be veg'ing nice. Kind of curious where you get a 70w HPS? Never heard of it.

Ya i need them cfl closer.will be working on that this week. Lowes sells them. They sell from 70-400 hps there. Income tax new lights forsure. Thought about them cob but they are expensive. I have 3 rooms so i have to spread out the $$.

Week 4 of flowering. Looking good and starting to smell a little. I need to tie it back a little bit. The leafs keep touching the cfls and burning.

Yes i have 3 training now. Ya im gonna add a few more bulbs til i get a new led. I just added 2 more of the 23w 1-3500&1-2700. So now thats 6 -23w 2-40w and 2 t5. Also trimmed a few leaves so more light shines thru.

Trimming the leaves was a mistake. You want your lights hitting those leaves instead of the buds. They are like your solar panels. Remember this for your next grow.
