CFL/T12 grow 1ST grow... =) +rep thx

okay new to this site and new to jounal first one!! so dont beat me up!! thanks lol

okay here we go im going to kind of start off with pics of it from like a week from seed although i am like 15 days around 3 wks into grow just want the experiance and want first journal to be a fun ride lmao( and have a healthy amnt of pics saved lmao)!! ima start of with a few threads feel free to comment or put any suggestions you have out there thanks will try get current as fast as i can with explaining along with them as it grows. once again thanks and hello to all riu!! blaaaaaayyyyyze!!! =)

pic #1 and #2 these are pics of my baby
"she" is about a week from seed at this point. its my first setup that i have just kinda went day to day type of deal with changes and such lol its in a plastic cheap ass walmart fish tank with burned holes with pen on bottom paper towel as tray one one desk lamp with a 50/50 atinic bulb/cool white, and a hanging in by thumb tack 13 watt cfl lmao (dnt wrry it gets better =))

pic #3 is actually when i develop a brain! lol i decided lets give this plant a try at life!! so i clear some closet space in a corner put some tinfoil up, and purchased a y split outlet hang it right above the smart way and now im starting to think of some good ideas. wtf else can i throw in here!!

keep in mind this is all on the 13th of july lol

pic #5 im gettin hyped up of what else to do so i push the lamps dock in between closet pole and shelf and put a flood light in it for some warmth its high up so not much also use my zuit suit zippy upy case thing that reflects light (still working till today lol)

pic #6 im fuckin sweatin just gettin pumped up as to what is next! call my mom up tell her my intentions ask for some x mas wrapping paper and if i can have the old light hood from her saltwater tank sheee says yes and knows whats goin on SWEET!! lol take a drive pic up the shit go home and put it up so its up you can see the case shiny thing hangin and the wrapping paper (works well if on real tight budget(at least i thnk so if on budget)

im pretty fucking broke right now! and tired as shit from running around all day! so i take a few last pics, smoke a fucking J(old skoo dont like glass much) and watch pineapple express till i fall asleep! lol

same setup day later still no payday one more day for that!! lol here are just some pics of the plant and the growth cant tell much from last pics but there is a lil growth goin on lmao(the leaves have actually gotten longer if you actually compare lol)

its the 16th and i took half the day off work to spend some denero!! lol

pic #1 and #2 just growth (FOUR new little leaves!) lol just from the previous setup this is in the morning on the 16th.

the new lighting- 7 cfls total 50/50 bulb(15 bucks petsmart) still with 1 cfl that i had and 5 more reg 13 watt cfls pack of 5 added (6 bucks at homedepot). this point ive added heat so want it to be cooled down purchased two desk fans (walmart 5 bucks a pop) one mounted blowing from back wall to plant and another on corner of the fish tank. in #4 you can see that the hood is now occupied by two 4ft T12 flouros! sweet now its time for progress! yay!

That tube isn't doing anything but adding heat and wasting electricity. Turn it off until the plants are bigger and can actually use that light

below justa cpl pics of growth not much to be seen, but the leaves have all gotten a lil bigger but thats about it! =)

here are four of the growth so far still not much progress. but is growing slowly.

note: on this day i added a light fixture 4ft tall four bulb flouro with T12's in all four. and on this day threw one of the reg t12s and put a warm violet spectrum light to the x2 light hood thats there.(guess time will tell)

Buy 6500k color temp (cool white) you can mix that with 2700k warm white for veg state (1 and 1).Those violet spectrum will work but the cool white will work better.I bought those fluorescent lights that said plant lighting or something of that nature at wal-mart before but they are not the ones you need.They have them at wal mart also.

pic#4 gloomy plant lol the fans were in the room before i put them out on this day. i went to work and forgot to place them outside blowing in and the door was closed reached a temp in the 90s NO BUENO i know! lol took him away and reason y watter is on em because i took him out and kinda rubbed his leafs with water did not place back into direct light with dropletts on made sure they were gone to prevent burning of leaves.

okay were about 15-20 days in to growing have lights set up was a little warm for her today like you can see in the pic showing temp its like mid 80s which is a lil high!!... hint the freezer packs just put down before pics to cool off a lil more with help of fans. i changed fan method i put one blowing in towards setup at an angel and one blowing straight out opposed to both blowing in plant is normal again! thank god recovering from yesterdays mistake of leaving fans in closet with door closed while at work. shes making a quick comeback. the soil if i havent mentioned is MG along with MG nutes that havent been touched. is it okay to start adding btw?? ive germed three more and planted them around all lighting to see what we can do here. my ph is also high im getting something this weekend to lower it its like 7.0 maybe even a lil higher =o. the temp usually sticks around high 70s low 80s. water every third day. its light cycle is on a 18/6 veg. will be purchasing a 400watt hps for flowering for sure! umm any ideas input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated now its time to watch cheech and chong smoke a j and pass the fuck out night all. o btw +rep to those that help night!!!

Yup,a mix of cool and warm white are great for veg.Ohh yeah no nutes yet

Wait till the cotyleden start to die off,but that depends what soil you have also,does the soil you have any time release nutrients???

yes it says for 3 months worth and it has like lil capsules that are in with the mix that pop when watered. well here is todays pics the leaves are getting pretty large! YAY!! lol

yeah bro unfortunatley its just bagseed i believe, i got the one that is actually growin from a buddy that said he got it from some cron he scored but i guess we will have to wait and see what the results are lmao. did you puurchase seeds or what?? if so where from?? lookin to buy some and plant along side with what i got goin on so far! do you got a journal goin on yet?? ide like to check it out! =) well till next time and in the mean time Blaaaaaaaayyyyze!!

Im growin from bagseed too, but I should be getting a few Low Rider #1 in a couple a weeks from a friend of mine. I havent got a grow journal up yet (I need to score a camera) but who knos i might start one for my next grow, but anyways I cant wait to see how ur plants turn out. =]

as for today i have purchased two 150 42 watt cfl's with 6500k and 2700 lumens ea(that are shown in that damn pic i got my toes in lol). i will be purchasing more this weekend fo sho!! lol

"she" is growing a lil more ive noticed a small change in the size of the middle set of leaves growing in they are taking shape and hopefully the lights will help a lil more. pics to view below PEACE!!

as you can see in the pics above i have more pots under the lights there i have germinated three seeds all with tails pokin out its been one day two nights for them and still nothing.???!!!

am i suppose to like leave them in the dark till them sprout?? confused as to why its takin so long if im suppose to do something diff please let me know!! thanks!!

How deep did you put them and was the tap root facing downwards???
