CFL Type for Veg

I confused to which Bulb to use for Veg cycle. Went to my local super store and the best one i could find was soft white 2700k 150w/40w Sylvania. I Grab it not really knowing. I understand that to be the bulbs i will use for flowering.

But I am a bit confused on Veg Cycle; maybe because i didnt see any stronger than 2700k 40w. OR Is it the color I am looking for (blue) cool color.

so, which CFL bulbs do i need for a small grow maybe 4 plants on Veg cycle.

Thanks

you want arounf 6500k for vegg...it got a real blueish color to it. and flower lights have a reddish hue. for 4 plant i would say about 75w per plant...cuz the other lights will hit the other plants and what not...but more is always better
peace

ya the 6500k and 2700k and whatever else are the colors...i would say like 3 or 4-27watters per plant. just make sure they arent like some cheap ass knock off brand. those ones look good but i would say u want 2700 and 6500k.

really So I bought 3 of the eco smart, blight white, and a red, clear light that has a tad less 3500k i think.

aye I have a couple 2700 already.
I post up a pick just for fun.

yes thats right, 2-3 bulbs per plant. I use 3 23w bulbs on 1 plant. And try to stay on low watage if u had small grow room(like pc grow box.)

red one, R40 Bright White; Blue one is labeled Daylight

I mean seeing as I am useing cfls, If i can get my hands on the right one which ever the right "one/type is; I am all for getting the right one. However, if these will be just as good then that will be kewl to.

Great picture! They don't always put the lumens on the box! I was scratching my head the first time too :) but you need 6500K/ "Day Light" for Veg and 2700K/ Soft White for flowering. Oh and I wouldn't go anywhere lower than 100w output.
Thnx bro, that does help with the curve.

Can't read the red one but the blue one in the top right corner says Day Light so those ones you use for veg, on the red labled ones does it say soft white on the box?
