CFL veg/HPS flower Grow journal #1 3 babys awesome strains

Hello everyone this is my second grow but first journal. My first grow went pretty well i grew one bushy dominant indica unknown strain. But i used 326 real watts of cfl for flower ended with 59 grams dried and cured. So this grow i have 3 plants, #1 elephant (sativa) #2 space bomb (indica) #3 moon wreck (indica). Now the elephant is a fast flowering sativa so all of the plants should finish at the same time (8 weeks). Im currently vegging under 223 true watts of CFL (mixed spectrum) in a 3x4 closet lined with panda film (amazing stuff), then when i switch to flower i plan to put them under a 600 watt hps. Thats going to be vented with two 6' inch duct fans that push 210 cfm. One for pushing the air and one for pulling, as well as some misc. fans that will be pushing air around in the closet. Im still deciding if i should add in some 42 watt cfls and throw some lollipopped plants in there, the deciding factor will be temps. They are currently in 5 gallon pots in ocean forest soil with minimal amounts of happy frog 5-5-5 (they seem to love it). Im also going with a 4 week veg and flipping. Heres my journal enjoy.

one question though, from pics it looks like plants have some deficiencies or something? is the soil new or reused? or maybe heat causes that?

I got them from a friend that was bigger grower and thats how they where when i received them but the new growth seems to be fine. I was wondering if someone could answer this for me. When i switch to flower how far above the plants should the light be to start off?

I leave them the same, in fact mine are always as low as i can get them
in this pic the tops directly below are 8.5 inches from the lamp 600HPS. Maybe bring the light down in increments height wise or if its digital ballast bring it up slowly on yours as they are coming from less light intensity just to be safe.

ok thanks bro. Have you ever lollipopped a plant i wanna hear some ideas about good ways to throw clones straight into flower and ways to alter plants, besides the plants ive grown regularly.

No i dont lollipop or even defol to hard just my preference. Havnt cloned straight to flower i veg two weeks, maybe 14/10 light hours while in the clone box could help your flip but just guessing ill sit back and see what people think, interested myself actually.

Just a quick one, if that string/rope holding up your reflector? Please change it for proper hangers. I nearly burnt down my house because of the heat build up burnt through it over time and fell!

now these arntto recent but they are from the beginning of week 2 kinda slower growth under cfls but there growing I put more lights on the plants. I have more recent pics I will add tomorow

Is that elephant bud from BC seeds?

I've got bluetooth from BC seeds in my grow atm, so I'm curious.

No my buddy is pretty heavy into growing and these are some clones he gave me but I forgot to mention I topped the moon wreck and lst the space bomb. But its called elephant cause it gets massive during flower pretty high yields as well.

Well I'm on day 19 and everything is going good I added another plant a bubble gum strain its 2 weeks old. All the plants are being fed pro-tekt, cal-mag and micros I plan on making the switch on June 10th

well im 22 days into veg for moon wreck, space bomb, and elephant, while the bubble gun is 17 days in and i plan to flip next monday, but im going to switch from CFL to HPS last week of veg. I am still using pro-tekt, micro, and cal-mag. The bubble gum is in a 3 gallon pot. I lst'd the space bomb and bubble gum, while the moon wreck and elephant are topped.

Does anyone know how bad plants stretch during veg when vegging with a hps?

well i switched to 12/12 on the the fourth due to temp problems and i run at night now but i am on day 35 but day 6 in flower it seems to be going good plants are thriving. Im currently using pro-tekt, bloom terra, and cal-mag and micro.
