cfl?? will this set up work

I have 4 plants growing from bagseed so I'm not sure what the strain is. I'm going with a complete fluorescent grow. From seed to harvest. I have 2 125 watt 6400K lights. 4 55wat 2700k lights. 4 23wat 6400k lights. and a t5 4 bulb 54watt 2bulbs at 2700k and 2 at 6400k. That is my veg set up. I will be swapping out the 4 23wat 6400k for 2700k in flowering. does This sound like a good setup

Use your 6500 ' s for veg,
I veg under 216 watts T5 HO, 6500x4 bulbs.
Sounds like more than enough.
Set up a 2 nd spot w 2700 for flowering try and use more watts in flower.

im not a fluorescent user but id think about using the t5 and and the smaller clfs to flower and veg with the rest

Well I really don't have room for a second chamber right now and I've heard that mixing the spectrums is good

Well I don't really have room for two chambers right now And I heard that mixing spectrums was good for the plants

So you're saying use my 2 125 wat 6400k And my 4 55 watt 2700 K For vegging and then add the rest for flowering?

how much room do you have? and your doing 4 plants right? all 4 in veg. and then all 4 in flower right? if so then i would use the t5 to veg and flower using the clfs. as side lighting where needed.

just remember you MUST surround your plant in light, CFL lighting has shit for penetration, you can NOT simply light only the top, unless you got a real nice SoG canopy...

Light from EVERYWHERE. Top and all sides.

It looks like how you have it in your picture(a 125 watt about each, the 23 watters on each corner, and no t5 yet, is that correct?) should be good for veg, everything is nice and even. Just see as they grow where they need more light, you have plenty of light on hand to get decent results its just a matter of playing around with the location of them.

Like mike said, a good idea might be to use the t5 fixture for the tops and supplement the rest in as side lighting. You'll probably get the most light coverage by doing that.

I'd also recommend getting some y-splitters (they're cheap) so you can double up those single sockets, might come in handy during flower when you can use all the light you can get. Makes sense to use everything you have rather than having extra bulbs you can't fit anywhere

Right now I'm in a three and a half by three and a half foot area

Yes I will be getting some why splitters and those are 55 wats for the sides but my plants are completely covered by the reflector right now on the 125 wats

Yea I noticed that, I would just stick with that set up you have there until flower then. Good luck rest of the way, keep us updated!

Thank you I was going to start using the t5 when I went into flowering when I have my screen set up I have a 4-foot t5 but only a three foot area so I'm going to have to have it at a diagonal Position. And I will be using my 125 to cover the two corners and then all my small like to cover sides

I like the mixed spectrum during flower, it'll allow for the most light absorption which will allow your plant to make more energy. For veg I only use 6500k because i have height restrictions so running only those help keep it bushy

yes keep them mixed during veg. and flower. if you use the t5 and side lights now in veg. the plant will have less stretch. also have you heard people on here dripping lights on plants. thats because they start hanging different lights up in middle of a grow.just trying to save you a big headache later.

Id say throw them all up more of the 65,64,55 with a few 27 and t5 and reverse spectrum for flower. with what
you have should definately get good results. This is what i have to work with until my next grow. I really invy alot of growers set ups. But I have (13)( 23w 2700k bulbs) (1) (26w 2700k bulb) (2)(45w 5500k bulbs) (2) (85w 5500k bulbs) and (1) (125w 2700k bulb).

Damn no wonder your plant is looking so good, that's about 700 watts if my mental math is correct. You must have great ventilation if heat isn't an issue
