Cfl yield query!!

hey this is Gutter, im doin a closet grow w. two 55w actual cfls 5000k and one 85w actual 6500k cfl. the strain is a cali sativa (dont know name) its 3 weeks old and is being fed earth juice 2-1-1 . im new to this so my question is what my expected yield should be? bongsmilie any advice would help

no one can answer the question as asked because there are too many variables, many that deal with how green a thumb you have. i can answer that an experience grower with your conditions could easily produce 3 to 4 ounces. be happy with an ounce or two on your first grow.

1 to 2oz would be nice 4 my first also do u know any good seed sites 4 USA delivery this one plant is all i have and if its male im screwed also im having a hard time making a grow box so ill search 4 some threads on that topic

veg room with 600 watt mh for veg, extra 170 watts of 6700k cfl added occasionally, flower room with 600 watt hps, extra 170 watts 2500 cfl added occasionally. co2 generator and monitor/controller.

i like attitude bro try em out im sure you will love em too.
id say you could get a zip if everything goes good. depends on how long you veg for too.
keep adding more lights especially during flower! ive seen someone on here say 100w perplant and 50w for evert additional plant...but i dont know how accurate that is.

i've never heard of anyone producing more than 1 and a half ounces per plant with cfl's, let alone 3-4 ounces per plant.

im not doubting you....but i think it could be done...3-4 ounces. an experienced grower, high yielding strain, maybe hydro, good fert schedule,,if everything went right with lots of bigger cfls i think someone could do it, maybe me! haha just jokin, but seriously can it not be done or who has the record for pullin the most yield with cfls only? i remember seeing one thread where a grower had aLOT of cfls and was spending aLOT of money on all kinds of stuff, i just remember he had some big yields anyways i dont know anything! my plants are under a foot and havent started flowering yet, but maybe ill break all the records...i wish! sorry if im rambling im high as a kite fly as a flight
and ive seen a few other growers who had large yields their first grow! nice job makinthemagic

4 oz is completely possible. Shit it you were so inclined you could grow 2 pound TREES if you had enough cfl's / cooling.

check out my sig.. im thinkin my plant will pull about 3 ounces.. maybe more. and that plant in my avatar pic was my last White Widow i grew with CFL's and vegged for only 3 weeks.. and i got 3.15 ounces off her... heres the link to that journal too. harvest pics are on page 69.. but it should be on that page already.

and heyy u should deff try Nirvana Seeds - www.nirvana-shop.com they have a decent selection.. adn are the cheapest seeds to but.. u can get 5 female seeds for $32.. and shipping is about $10.. which is cheaper than any other site.. good luck!

** as far as a yield always low ball ur guess.. 1-2 ounces is usually a good guess tho.

im actually hopin the plant im growin now (in my sig) will yield like 3 1/2... idk about 4 tho... lol. but that would be nice. =) my last plant gave me 3.15 Ounces.. and only vegged for 3 weeks... and this is the same strain.. and vegged for a little over 4 weeks.. and was FIM'ed as well... sooo "in theory" it should yield more. =) u guys can check it out if ya want. its in my signature... if not i will update on here wen shes finished. shes at week 6 in flowering right now. =)

yeah ive seens your threads, great WWs for real... as for me got 2 seedlings in an old chair box lined w mylar, fox farms happy frog n perlite... 85w 6500k CFL and 2 26w 6500k getting more soon but they're growing everyday:blsmoke::blsmoke::mrgreen: no pics though sorry:twisted:

I've just pulled 5oz off of 2 under nothing but CFL, have been posting here, was my first grow and I'm sure I'll improve with the 2 LST'd beauties that I have under the lamps now.

People pull more than such low yields all the time, but for some reason people come back to the CFL growers forum again and again and tell us that we will be lucky to see 1/2oz wet.

Dependent on your light, air conditions, box suitability and personal input you can grow good, healthy plants with plenty of bud. Anyone that tells you different just plain didn't do the reading.

=) thanks man. yeaa all i did was throw a bunch of CFL's a few fans and some miracle grow soil and a seed together and just hoped for the best. lol. im bout to post up some pics on here. for "proof" as sum1 asked for towards the top of the page.. just wanna find sum good pics.
