the way you check how much money your using is a simple forumla.. on your bill you will see how much your paying per killowatt hour.. probably like fifteen cents or something an hour..
you take your 100 watts times that by your price per hour, times that by how many hours your light is on, times how many days you have it on per month, and divide by ten..
so here you go.. 15 cents x 12 hours a day gives you two dollars a day, x's 30 days is 60 dollars, and divide that by ten, six dollars a month for that one hundred watts.. you want to divide by ten as the electric company charges by killowatt, and that is 1000 watts, and your only using 100 watts, or one tenth a killowatt..
