CFLs really do Suck!!!

The life of a CFL is determined by how often you turn them off and on.
Some CFLs I have used do get bright much more quickly than other CFLs.
Some take a while.
I replaced a bunch of my old light bulbs with CFLs, but only a few lasted more than a year...most did indeed burn out quick enough to piss me off....these bulbs are expensive.
I went back to incandescents.
The real debate here should be about choice! We each have our own preferences.
We should be allowed to indulge these preferences!

I dont care so much about them outlawing ... I just dont want them outlawing HPS lights

I dont care so much about them outlawing incondecents... and I dont see why their would be black market incondecents. i'm sure mexico and Canada will still use them, and CFLs wil probably be even more advanced by then... I just dont want them outlawing HPS lights
don't worry guys, HPS is way more efficient than fluorescent lighting, it has the highest amount of lumens per watt, we should light our houses AND grow rooms with HPS..that would be the best, and HPS bulbs have a long life, before they burn out also..........They will have to pry the HPSs out of my cold dead fingers to get them away from me......those bastards!

I luv cassettes, I voted for Bush and would again, and I hate cfls now what..Lets all hope and pray that that crazy man Hilary Clinton doesnt some how get to be president if so I will just shoot myself ...what a scary though(shivers)

As far as cassettes guess your not really into music or you would know cd's actually take the original music and remove bytes of it through bitrate conversion for digital recording.It sounds clear doesnt it but you actually loose bits of the original performance so in all reality cassettes and vinyl reproduce sound closer to the actual live sound then digittal cds do but guess you didnt know that or youd have understood that.Some people just dont like to do the research before jumping out on a limb with the compete wrong information.
