CFM help ASAP

I don't have a booster fan I have a 4" inline vortex type fan ( round and sounds like a jet engine) it pulls quite a bit of air thru it. Enough that I had to silence the fan and the air that is being exhausted. I get the principle of all of this and I have done my homework , but honestly this is the smallest high quality carbon filter I could find , and def the smallest one my hydro shop had and due to circumstances it has to be bought/installed ASAP with a quickness. I just kinda wanted to know if I would have any problems with it being overkill. Thx for the response. Peace
Yeah I have one on a 32' square tent. That is the smallest useful one. And what is wrong with 10 exchanges per minute or per second? 3 an hr is the DEAD min. Only if you are trying to heat and not cool, or running CO2 cycles, do you have to worry about exhaust CFM.

Noise?....I don't a hear a thing but what sounds like MegaDeath, on 11 in the background. :) But, when I run all 6 fans in the bathroom, it kinda sounds like Mozart.

But, here is where I don't listen and don't follow instructions. I warp insulation around all my fans. I figure they can cool themselve internally. And they seem to. Those big cans get too hot for me, when they are moving hot air quickly.

In small enclosures, you worry about heat load and heat load is not the air. Nor can air shed IR heat load.

Everything radiated on must be cover with IR refection material, especially dry wall. Heat loading is when the heat of operations soaks into the equipment, walls, floors, etc, and re-radiates. I chase nightmares with these heat loops happening.

It is why I got out of hydroponic ponds. Heat the water with air stones, pumps and the environment and then chill it for $400 a month.

So the fan gets a pipe and the pipe, which is hot, gets foil bubble warp as insulation, and that insulation also wraps the body of the fan, so it can't radiate either.

NOooooooooooo heat load. :)
