They don't run much cooler than the 400w hps I had in my tent, which was an open hood with no venting. People buy them for the quality of light and the extremely efficient ballast.Ao those lecs really do run a lot cooler???
Hold on, that's not gonna be how it works. If you set up like this it's not gonna add extra CFM to either of the seperate tubes. Both will probably be a bit less than 440 CFM. The overall CFM of like 800 will ONLY be felt at the end of the wye valve where the two ducts meet.So i could probabaly get a 750cfm rated carbon filter for my small ass room with the 8x6x6 and be fine? Roughly ?
Okay I misunderstood, I thought maybe the CFM was accelerated! It makes sense now duh.Hold on, that's not gonna be how it works. 750 CFM carbon filter is too much.
Another note...
I have a 2x4 tent too. With 400 W HPS and cool tube. I only have 250 CFM pulling on a little 200 CFM carb filter, then only 150 CFM behind my light (totally seperate ducting). The weed smell no longer exists. Got the fans at home Depot for like 30 bucks lol

They are closed fixtures with vertical bulbs, low frequency square wave ballast manufactured by philips. He didn't show it in the pic, but theres 2 fans.... may need a backflow flapper tho just to act as a check valve....
Them gotta hang/mount vertical? Special ballast or 400w mag style?
