I recently bought a jardin DR90 II 3ftx3x6 and was just wondering what cfm I should go for. I'll be using a 400w air cooled hood.

Are you using a carbon filter?
Better to have a strong fan and get a speed controller than a weak ass fan and have to replace it.

Just buy the most bad ass fan you can afford, 8inch then get 6inch down sizers from lowes. You'll never regret going to big, only regret going to small and having tons of heat issues. & I bet in the future you're going to upgrade your setup 
And that fan will still be adequate. I dumped 150 or so on a 8icn 800-900cfm inline fan w/ big ass carbon filter w/ prefilter on Ebay. Good & Best of luck

Thanks guys, no I wont be using a carbon filter. I was thinking about going with 400-500cfm just cause i dont see myself upgrading past 400w for atleast 3 or 4 grows then at the most i'll go up to is a 600w, im pretty sure 400-500cfm can handle a 600w if i'm not mistaken.
