I want to get a new 1k bulb before I flower. I was told it was like new when I got it but isn't that what they all say? It didnt seem very bright when I was running it by itself at the end of last grow.

I think there's a time and place for all types of growing! If it suits someone's needs then by all means they should go for it. It just doesn't fit into my schedule as it is. I've started cloning again is the main reason, that plus I'm not working with fem seeds which helps.

After opening it I was 'forced' to test it out. Not the worst end to the day. Started out with me sleeping in the car, so really just being allowed back inside was a treat. :)

Its crazy what they charge for some shit in store. I've bought one bulb from a shop and it was the cheapest one they had since mine burned out and it was an emergency. I'd love to have 2 brand new spare bulbs sitting by, but I don't see that happening any time soon!

That is a great price Chaka....at least $25 less than I paid for a 600.

The weird thing is that I cannot find a similar deal for
the 600 (LU600S/HTL/EN) on Amazon.

I see it offered my other resellers, and for a much less attractive price.

I paid around $90, after a discount, at my local hydro shop.

I was going to replace the 600 as well. It isn't very old but I figured why not, and apparently Eye discontinued making the 600? The ones I did find cost a fortune, like you said so I just decided to forego it for now and just buy the 1k.

14 days in the bucket. My new bulb arrives tomorrow and I should be going into flower in another week or so.
