Change from 400w to 600w HPS

Hey guys, just started my 5th week of flowering. I was looking at my digital ballast and noticed i had it set on 400w instead of 600w which is what it should have been on from the start of flowering. I have now changed it today and was wondering during what are the pros and cons of increasing the wattage. BTW guys its a sun master DS 600w bulb with a supernova reflector and the tent dimensions are 1m/1m/1.8m. Thanks guys!

Pros = more light

Cons = none

Pros - more light
Cons- More power use

Many howmgrowers are more apt to not give enough light - messing with Red-White-Blue spectrum before you even have a good saturation of light is not that useful.

600w is good for that tent

Thankyou for your fast responses guys, 1 more question. Have I affected my yield by running the 400w for the past 4 weeks instead of running the 600w from the start?

Maybe.. but it is what it is..run with it !

Sure...but few of us are flawless in growing. We get in the way in more ways than one.
